Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis announced scrapping of 12 toll plazas in the state with effective from 1st June, 2015. He also announced 53 other Toll Plazas where LMV and ST Buses will be exempted.
Five entry point Tolls in Mumbai will remain operational and there is no change to that.
It is known from sources that Dahisar, Thane, Mulund, Airoli and Vashi Toll Plazas bring about 4000 crores revenue to the Government.
Decision to close these Toll Plazas will increase the burden by 500 crores to the Government.

- Toll naka at Nanduri on Nashik-Wani Road (state highway 17)

Toll plaza at Vashi is always crowded because of mismanagement and they charges even after the time limit of 3 minute is crossed because of their mismanagement, serious action should be taken against the irresponsible behaving of the employees who forces to pay.

Why we paid toll if we pay one time road tax to government.there is no meaning of paid toll.
YESTERDAY I WENT SHAPUR VILLAGE FROM VASHI IT IS 118 KM THERE IS 4 TOLL NAKA IS 1) AIROLI 2) MULUND 3) THANE BETWEEN IN 30 KM YARD LAST ON SHAHPUR IS DISGUSTING I HAD UP & DOWN 400/- WHEN I HAD PAY AT AIROLI WHY SHOULD PAY IN MULUND & THANE & I PAY ON MULUND AND THANE ALSO AFTER PAY AT VASIND IT IS 100/-
You can take the direct route from Kalwa to save Airoli & Mulund toll. Then you'll pay Toll only at Thane & Shahpur. Distance is also shorter that way.
Is vashi toll naka can collect the toll from the car registration is MH43

If you're staying in the radius of 5KM around Toll Plaza and frequently cross the Toll Plaza. Please visit the Toll booth with Address & Photo id proof to get concessional pass. You may only have to pay the 10 Day Toll charge to get Monthly Pass.
There is no confirmation from government wether we should pay toll or not. the toll people are still claiming for toll from private cars. request to our government to kindly clearify wether the toll is closed or not.
