Central Railway will introduce additional weekend service on the Neral Matheran Section with effect from 19-Dec-2010 to cater to the heavy rush on weekends on this section.
Train No. 52009 (old 609) and Train No. 52006 (old 606) are the new pair of trains being introduced.

Can anyone let me know the status of Toy trians running from Neral to Matheran. I am planning for 22 – 24 Oct 2012. Inquiry on 139 does not have any info and even IRCTC shows no trains found.

I need information regarding the toy train. As in, at what time is it available, how do i book the tickets and is there any other way to to reach there, if not the toy train? I tried the irctc website but its not showing the train. I wish to go to Matheran over this weekend i. e., 15 and 16th of dec. Immediate reply is appreciated.
